Amalfi coastline as seen from Ravello on a hazy morning

The Amalfi coast is an area of great physical beauty and natural diversity. It has been intensively settled by human communities since the early Middle Ages. There are a number of towns such as Amalfi and Ravello with architectural and artistic works of great significance. The rural areas show the versatility of the inhabitants in adapting their use of the land to the diverse nature of the terrain, which ranges from terraced vineyards and orchards on the lower slopes to wide upland pastures

The Costiera Amalfitana, or Amalfi Coast, is widely considered Italy's most scenic stretch of coastline, a landscape of towering bluffs, pastel-hued villages terraced into hillsides, precipitous corniche roads, luxuriant gardens, and expansive vistas over turquoise waters and green-swathed mountains. Deemed by UNESCO "an outstanding example of a Mediterranean landscape, with exceptional cultural and natural scenic values," the coast was awarded a coveted spot on the World Heritage list in 1997.

Indeed an amazing view!
But I miss some sharpness in the back. I can't find the horizon!
But I still love the view and the way you've captured the photo; the silhouet of the tree and the natural framing of the trees in front of the view!

Hi Tsilla,
A beautiful landscape shot with beautiful FG framing of the trees and bushes which makes a good sense depth in your composition, cool colors with nice DOF,well captured and beautiful presentation,if you cloud avoid the bunch of the leaves on right and let the tree stand alone in the FR would have looked better.

Best Regards

Yes beautiful view and photos.
Great colors and light.
I like this photos.

A dominating blue and a breathtaking landscape, both are making wonders in this shot, Tsilla!

The sharpness and higher POV are well done. As Janneke mentioned, a view to the horizon might have enhanced the quality of the shot but overall, it is a wonderful work.

Best greetings,

Hello Tsilla,

Indeed amazing view. Beautiful scene and atmosphere. I think I can feel the fresh sea air.
Excellent sharpness and light.
Perfectly shown colors.

Warm greetings and best wishes,

Bonjour Tsilla
Très jolie composition avec en FG un bel exemple architectural de la région et en BG cette légendaire baie d'Amalfi.Bravo!Catherine

Hi Tsilla,

This was the featured photo in your gallery. What a breathtaking view. I am enjoying the blues. Yes I visited the Amalfi Coast before I had a digital camera. I remember the road to be narrow and difficult to travel but spectacular. How I would like to come back. Thanks for posting this as it reminds me of a beautiful memory. My best regards.
