Personally, I find it so difficult finding a shot without people, signs, cars etc. But the main sign in this shot is part of the scene and belongs here.
The choice of aperture, shutter speed and focal length are all good resulting in a well focussed and exposed image. The bright colours contrast well with the drab colours of the building amterials

You have a good eye for composing a photographic image Francis Xavier,you captured well all the various patterns & hues of the different stones.The vibrant yellow of the door & window,blend well with the two colourful arrangements of flowers, & the sign above the door lets us know what type of shop were viewing,a pity it was closed for you,I'm sure if the colourful, well kept exterior, is anything to go by,the inside would have been warm & welcoming.

I can understand why a tourist would find this quaint scene appealing. The combination of stonework, colorful flowers and yellow doors/windows is beautiful. This is nicely composed so that we can take it all in.
