[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
To bring us into the season of halloween,I dedicate this shot to all people of squimmish persuasion.Shot in Glasnevin cemetery in Dublin built in 1830s surrounded by high walls and watchtowers and guarded by dogs to deter body snatchers which was rife in the 19th century to supply the medical profession with fresh bodies to their anatomy departments.Im not certain why the numbers were on the wall, maybe someone can let me know?

Hi james

Superb use of diminishing linear perspective, with the golden orb of the sun or moon?, nicely positioned on the vanishing point at top right. Good sharpness & mood. Tfs!

Hey Jimmy

Like the story. Nice POV on this image. The sun or moon helped to complete the image giving it the erie feel. nice work

Regards
Jimmy

Good deep DOF, nice POV and the pano crop again suits the shot very well... Interesting light - what technique did you use? Be interesting to see that info in your notes..

No idea about the numbers.

Cheers
David

Hi James,

very interesting and a kind of mytic shot with wonderful depth! It draws my vision directly to moon (?). I must say, an exceptionally well done colors and the sharpness. The old bricks are beautifully shown.

Great perspective, my friend!

best regards,
Paras

James

James,

Maybe the numbers are marking parking spaces ????

The perspective worked out nice, but the sky with that color and the sun are just great with the rest of the picture.

Congratulations,

Wellington

Bonjour James,
Good POV ! Mysterious mood ! Well done.

Pascalie.

Nice perspective and fantastic detail on the block wall. The orange glow through the slit in the tower is nice.

Hello,

superbe compo, quel cadrage, et rendu sur ce mur, quel captage, avec ces numéros, ce beua brun, cette pierre, grandiose.

bravo et amitié

Nicou

Hello James,

This is so well planned!
The receding lines direct the gaze precisely.
Although the tower would make a fine focal point, the hazy, mysterious moon takes this prize.
The light, the atmosphere, the detail come together well in this shot. (Actually, you know a shot has worked if it creates an atmosphere!)

Have a good w/e,
Bev :-)
