[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello Folks.

Testing my camera and lens 18-70mm.
No bad but distortion on 18mm is massive.
This is new for me and have to solve it some day.

Have a good new week.

Best Regards.
Hans Janek Kloss

Ciekawa scenka. Szkoda ze nie zdecydowales sie pokazac tu troche zycia w postaci jakiegos czlowieczka. Ladnie to skomponowales a kolorki sa swietne.

Hi Janek,
Great colours and a lovely scene, oddly very similar to one I took in Wolverhampton not long ago, right down to the distortion!
I like the distortion, myself - it's almost like a fisheye effect. But as John Tulip says, it can easily be adjusted in Photoshop or similar.
Cheers, John.

Hi Janek,
Nice colors and composition . I made a workshop to show you how it is possible to correct distortion . It is very easy to do with a photo software . I did this one with CS3 but you can also do it with a fee software like Photofiltre .

Hi Janek! Very lovely composition and framing of the shot. I like the low POV and how you used your lens. Very good saturation of colors and a well exposed shot. The leaf-less branches make a very attractive natural border. Great details and focus.
Freddie :)

Janek, I'm wondering if you can ever really solve this problem. I think maybe in Photoshop, yes, but while taking the pic??
If you are this close by and at this zoomrange the distortion is inevitable.

In spite of the distortion I like the composition and the colors. It's a pleasant view.

Excellent shot Janek and you can
easely ajust in PS CS 2 or 3

Hello Janek,
Congrats with D80 camera. Sure you'll enjoy it. I've the same (and new D40X now).
