I love it! The colours are great and there is a saddness too it, rust is like the cancer of metal ships and this looks like a disease! Really good.

Crisp, colourful, wel exposed and a good composition. Most of all the detail is excellent. Nice work Bill. I do not award or accept points.

Hello Bill !
Cool post and informative link ! Yep, these small coastal carriers disappeared in many countries. Years ago , the sea was the only way to visit remote coastal villages. Now roads and bridges have been built. Even the impossible bridges and tunnels are now realities ( the Eurotunnel ,the Storebaelt bridge , Confederation Bridge in Canada and Hong Kong bridge are some examples.
Thanks for showing us this cutie (^_^).

Well... Seen better days for sure!
But the worse they are as ships the better as photo subject... The colour of rust always looks great in sunlight!
Effective point of view, good lines in the composition and the tight framing works well!

This one appeals to my eye... as you know, I like taking quayside shots myself!
I love the angle that you have got here, giving really strong perspective and great line in the image.
It's beautifully exposed too, with rich, sharp colour and really good contrast.
An excellent shot.
