Hi Piotr, a lovely shot you have here. The robin is presenting you with a nice pose. Good exposure. Great focus and detail. Lovely colors on the robin. Good dof, background is there but blurred enough so its not distracting. Well done, thanks.

Hi Piotr, wonderful shot here, the bird is clearly and cleanly focused, good lighting, well done for an Audubon entry, for sure! TFS. I like the colors of the bird, it's a bit different than our 'robin red breasts.'

Wow, great detail and colors on this cute, fat bird. Good POV and angle with the stem it stands on angling towards the viewer. Really sharp and I like how the rest is out-of-focus. The background is wonderful. TFS!

I like its fluffy look. We have one of those visiting our bird feeder, but I haven't been able to capture it yet...
Will have to try harder ;o)).
I think a crop from bottom & right hand sides would make a stronger compo, de-centering the bird.

Piotr, an excellent photo and superb detail on this robin. I do agree with Dingo in regards to the cropping on the right bottom corner. It is only a minor detail. The frame should have been a different colour. The black takes away from it a bit.

An excellent shot on this European Robin. Spot on exposure and soft light have brought out the beautiful colors in the plumage. Nice sharp detail with good control on the DOF. The OOF backround is well done.

Nice close shot with saturated yet natural colours.

Suggestions:
1. Background is too busy. Avoid branches touching your subject. It would be very easy to clone out the blurred branch that comes out of the left side of the bird's head.
2. Sharpness is there but to me it does not appear even and natural. F/2.8 does provide enough depth of field as you can see with the left part of your image including the belly of the robin being very soft.
3. This kind of subject should really be posted in treknature.com

Hello Piotr,
I like this bird that we don't have here. Every time I see a picture of this specie, I feel a little envious :) This is a very good capture with excellent exposure, details and BG. I noticed two little things though, I think that subject is a little too centered and a little too much sharpened as I see some noise, especially on its head. The BG is also a little grainy. I often use Neat Image and applied it only on the BG and it gives good result. Anyway, this is a very nice shot :) Thanks,

Hi Piotr. I see nothing wrong with the bird being central in this shot, it always works with a square format. The negatives fail to take into account that this was your second posting. We have a couple of robins here with the chest colour either pink or bright red. A lovely capture, good detail in the feathers and the pose a delight. TFS,

I am very impressed with the European robins that I've seen here on TL, being used to the darker coloring in the US. A wonderful capture of this puffed up little bird, who looks a bit disturbed at being caught. Great detail and POV.

Very good photo of your Robin, good color & sharp detail. His features look like our Robin but looks a little smaller & different orange breast. Some here call them red breasted but they always look orange to me! Don

Very good!! I'm surprised about the details; you can see every feather.
A bit pitty for the depth of field to be too less for its leg and tail to be sharp. Maybe you should use more aperture. The bird is sitting very still, so 1/100 sec would do.
