One of the most famous Royal Sites is located at Tara, Co. Meath. The Hill of Tara has been home to druids, warriors and was the seat of the High Kings of Ireland. The Hill of Tara today has the ruins of the royal enclosures, and circular mound formations. There is a statue of Saint Patrick on the Hill of Tara plus an unusual shaped stone called the Lia Fail or Stone of Destiny. Legend has it that when the true high King of Ireland touched the stone it cried out. Make sure if you get the chance to touch the stone and see if anything happens !!This legend is very similar to the Arthur and excalibur.

Hi James,

good shot and good details. nice use of lights here wnd well framed.

Tfs,
Sanjib.

Hi Jimmy,

The sky is in stark contrast to the grass by the stone being so black and ominous. The Royal enclosures would have had a very commanding view of their surroundings. The colours are very vivid the details very sharp great pov and nice dof. The only thing that caught my eye was the mysterious circle in the lighter part of the sky it looks like you have tried to burn something or maybe it's proof of UFO's.

Regards
Jon

Good morning, James!

What a breathtaking view to the great landscape, exposed under a furious cloudy sky! The mood is great in the picture and the tomb-stone located in the FG bring feeling of ghope into the picture. The lush green color of the grass is very well shown and gives great contrast to the dark clouds.
Great scenario!

Thanks for posting!

Hi James

Like the contrast between the very dark sky and statue in the foreground.
