|These massive monolith were once moved over many miles and years to their places at Newgrange tumulus, and have stood in their place for over 5000 years, watching time and humanity pass them by ever since. The Bru na Boinne, or Boyne Valley is rich in pre-historic tombs and monuments, and several circles of earth and monoliths which nark the solar and lunar calendars.Shot on Fuji film with a 35mm compact camera back in winter 2001, then transferred to disc in 2002. Presented in panorama format for best impact.|

Beautiful composition! The shadows are great. I like the earthly tones very much.
