[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The railway station in Volos built by de Chirico is a real architectural treasure, together with the stations in Lechonia and Agria. However, the best is the old junk yard corner where you can see the history of this modern Greek culture rusting away without anybody caring to preserve this national treasure. Here’s some oldies that I sneaked into the place to photograph as there’s this weird mentality about not allowing to photograph anything in some cases. I hope that someone some day will built a museum or at least a shed to protect them until they do something about it.

This is dedicated to all railway fans of the world

Thanks for stopping by………..

Hello Argiris
Great pov looking down at the locos. I think the blured effect works very well here, it leads the eye to the main detail and avoids any distractions. It is ashame these great machines are kept secret - but at least they are secure too.
Regards, Leslie

HI Argiris
Your trip into antiques is taking us back into time again.
Your shot sends a feeling of sturdiness and security.
Well done

Hello Argiris.
Its a shame that they don't maintain those old beauties.
Did you captured is through a window ? Pity...
Regards,
Jan

Hello Argiris,
fantastic subject with warm colors and excellent POV.
The notes are very interesting and it's pity that no one protect this old trains.
I like different focus between different elements.
A dear embrace my friend.

dear Argiris,
all old SLs must be preserved in museums and parks,
or at least some of typical SLs must be done...
in Japan, rather numbers of SLs are preserved and exhibited, and children can play with them at museums and parks.
anyway very joyful and picturesque shot this is,
thank you for your dreamy image,
Akihisa

Hi Argiris,

I like this kind of shot. Very well focused and capitalized the light very well. TFS and best regards,
Jusni

Yassou Argiris!

Interesting presentation giving the focus on a few important elements only . The imgae is therefore much more powerful.

I might have cleaned a few clue dots for a cleaner composition. Oversharpening of what seems to me birds souvenirs (^_^).

A lovely composition in any case .
Sincerely,
Robert

Ciao my friend Argiris

I like this composition, it is easy
natural colors and details and looking at the other
pictures of train stations are a delight.
like the simplicity here Argir
A clean shot, beautiful and harmonious

Hi Argiris,
interesting selective-focus PP effect :-))
