Hi Nickos, great idea, nice work, congratulations...
Firstly you are to be commended for taking this risk with your camera to capture this image..it was well worth the risk as I think this view is amazing... a fish eye view straight from the water lol. Superb detail and colours here with neat framing too
TFS regards Helen

Fantastic and funny idea! :)
Congratulations for this great shot!
Oh my!!!... this is awesome Nickos! Lovely view, really! As Helen suggested, a fish-eye view - that is stunningly beautiful.
Lovely colors. The clarity is very good while sharpness could be done a little better but hey!! this is isn't easy work - so, overall result is really commendable. Salute, Nickos!
It is also very nice to see the island that looks as if it is floating. :) Love the clear blue sky as well.
I wish to share with you a tips for a shot like this, to minimize the risk of 'hurting' your camera - just a simple trick actually. Whenever possible, try to use a small plastic aquarium that fit enough for the camera. Just make sure that we are not shooting against the sun and the lens is close (or may even touch) the aquarium. Both lens and aquarium at their best cleanliness. Have fun :)
and have a nice day,

Good morning Nickos,
A most engaging and daring composition. The island is sharp, and the water movement really enhances the image. Well done. Danilo

I would not have taken my camera into the sea, but I sure am glad you did, because a better POV you can not find.
This one is fantastic!
Yes, exotic, something that should be on the cover of a travel brochure.

It's a fantastic shot! . .
You take risk for this lovely result . .
You have such great stability capturing this island while standing partly underwater . .

Ekpliktikh gwnia.. to apotelesma dikaiwse to risko!
Yes. I do think your work here is exotic. It's also graphic and as far as I could remember, one of those few shots of an island taken so low and at an adverse condition. And even though it's dangerous to your camera, I admire photographers that dare to take calculated risk to get what they have in mind of how better or different should the subject be seen. Just don't make that risky composition, your last ok Nickos.
You know what they say about better photos yes? Better photos are what you have in mind of getting and not just something which you see. Be different and know how to get it safe.

What a great vantage point Nickos.
It gives the sense of floating on an ocean so well.
Very unique looking piece of land too.
Well seen and captured.

You're really lucky. I dropped a brand new camera in a saltwater lagoon, & it was a total writeoff from the corrosion. But a great effect here. Tfs!
Yeah I really like the result you got here - and kudos to you for putting your camera at risk like that! Brave photographers get great shots.
The composition is a little dull, the island is too centred in the frame - rule-of-1/3rds would make this better - but overall it's good work. I like it!

Hi Nickos, This is immensely appealing. The water-level POV makes it so inviting. The various blue tones are what drew me to this image. The Greek Islands certainly are one very special part of the world. TFS. Murray.
