[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In the cold, dull and now miserable weather in Scotland in early January, it's nice to look back with fond memories of a lovely week's holiday we had in northeast Corfu just three months ago.

These lovely little flowers, lit by the morning sun, were just outside our villa. I liked the effect of backlight on their milky white petals and the lovely red centres of the flowers.

Shot in RAW and converted and edited in PSE6.

Beautiful photo with lovely sharp details on the petals and leaves. I like the off-centre position of the subject and how the red centre is almost at a junction of the horizontal and vertical thirds.

Another inspiring shot which makes me glad your enthusiasm for photography has started to rub off on me!

Bonjour John
