[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Dear All,

The golden bright light of the Sun when it was setting for the day, I happened to see this hover fly perching on some young leaves. I could take only one picture as the hover fly didn't rest on these leaves for longer, but I was quite satisfied with the results.

I did no changes except cropped, a bit sharpened and finally resized for TL.

Hope you enjoy such moments of Spring season, independent of the part of this World you are living in.

Thanks and regards,

thanks for sharing ...

Such incredible lighting, sharpness and wonderful composition makes this a real winner! I love the square format crop and the beautiful depth created by your creative framing and bg isolation- the color is awesome too! Well done!

Again, you have an amazing ability to get a fly or a bee in a picture...I've been trying but not much success. Beautiful capture with great lighting. Good dof with sharp details. Wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

Hi Paras,
Beautiful macro on this resting hover fly, the detail and natural colour are superb. Good framing keeping the main subject off centre to allow a superb DoF. Best wishes

Hello Paras
Wonderful light and I was thinking that how paras used flash as he doesn't like in floral and insect macros but the title answers my question which is so impressive using the sun set glow so beautifully.
Have a nice weekend!

Your shot shows the intricacies of this insect well. The colors are vibrant and natural. To look at any insect close up is always amazing.Best wishes Otto.
