Dear Trekkers,

A simple summer shot where one can feel the beauty and charm of this season when insects enjoy perching on colorful flowers for their living. This is a shot I took from a hover fly having a good time on a flower yet to bloom.

I gave the hover fly a stronger place in the shot and how the pointed bud balances the fly nicely against a lovely bokeh. For me, the scene had more artistic appeal than a photographic one. It was late noon time and this flower was growing under the shadow of a tree.

Hope you enjoy the mood in this scene.

Enjoy your weekend!

Summer greetings,

Paras

Hi Paras,
What a sharp close-up of this bee sitting at the tip of this yellow flower. A completely blurred BG to isolate the subject. Perfect sharpness and accurate light. Very fine work.
Regards,

Francis Xavier

Hi paras,
Fantastic colors of this bee with splendid light and impeccable sharpness. I like the narrow DOF and POV you opted for!
Beautiful touch of blue in the bokeh BG.
Well done for this neat presentation.
Best Regards,
Vic

Great shot Paras my neighbor in the gallery today , well love the bokeh style BG , a bit splashy in tones but just right to have the eye of the viewer on the fly which appears in a plane by itself due and thanks to the amazing shallow depth of field , i think a slight increase in contrast on the insect shall bring a little more punch to it imo , nonetheless it's one heck of a stunning capture dear,
Have a nice weekend,
Carol

Dear Paras,

I feel pity on this tiny bees when I see them all smashed on the winshield of my car. I was just wondering how much wold die in each journey on my car - multiplied by number of cars passed in a day - makes millions. But good news is that, their production rate is also very high.

A beautiful snapshot in excellent details and bright light. Well done my friend. Thanks for sharing.

Kind Regards,
Inaam
