The difernet levels in terrain and lighting works so well here, the minimal red rose holds the attention, you can feel the slight breeze across this dry grass. tfs

Hi Henri,
Beautiful golden tones converging into yellow and green ones. A solitary red poppy right at the proper place to divide the perspective. Splendid light and such a neat presentation. I like the diagonal line dividing this perspective.

Nicely titled and framed. Very peaceful mood created in this capture. Good DOF. Nice levels of light, from light to dark and nice change in textures created by the different grasses. Like the lone red poppy which adds a bit of colour and draws one attention.

Bonjour Henri, the red poppy draws our eyes into the shot, just imagine the same shot without it!
Lovely textures from the grass and the barley, and I like the dark band from the woodland in the bg.

HI Henri, this is an excellent capture of the nearly ready field for harvest with the drooping seeds and then your eye is caught by the lonely poppy - love the title .... very nice almost artsy composition - Thanks for sharing - kind regards Monika

In olden times you would find lots of poppies in the fields - nowadays they spray !!

The solitary red flower stands out well against the green bg. The yellow green layer at left adds interest & the dark bg enlivens the graphism. The triangle of green adds interest. I like the repetition of the ears of unripened grain or grqass seeds. Tfs!

J´adore cette composition...je l´ai vue et j´y reviens quelques fois plus. Elle est trés original et simples. C´est regard trés riche et avec un sense d´equilibre qui me plait beaucoup. Les herbes jaunes et vertes contre cette petite fleur rouge qui a cette audace.
Henri tu sait si bien "parler".
