Street light art nouveau
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|A streetlight in Art nouveau-style, taken in the beautiful city of Nancy, France. The city is full of architecture in art nouveau-style, or jugend style, as it is known as as well. This street light can be found at the big square, Place Stanislas, in central Nancy.|

This is a nice subject, and a nice background building as well. Perhaps the angle you were standing could have been a little more to your right? for a different view of the sculpture at the top. It looks like an interesting city, if this style is very popular there.
Beautiful streetlight on a cloudy day.
Nice depth of field. The background is superb. The point of shooting is well chosen.
You could adjust levels and perform a slight unsharp mask, I think.
I've posted a WS experimenting the Difuse Glow Filter. I've tried to create an old film effect.
Would you please take a look at the result?

I like the light in this photo, soft and scattered, good colors and composition,
Well done Johanna .. good picture nice setting.
very nice photo. I don't think though that the design of the street light qualifies as art nouveau (turn of the 19 to 20th century), but rather looks like "rocaille", a rokoko ornament. The street light might well be from the end of the 19th century...
