Another metro station in Paris, another mood.

"Assemblée Nationale", the house of parliament, walls are covered with the national blue/white/red colors and faces silhouettes.

Even though the posterized faces seemed to car about us passengers, the station was totally empty except that woman who passed by many times in front of me.

She was moaning something I didn't understand and looked somehow deranged. Perhaps it was the area, too much politics leaves your mind foolish.

Shooting : I have a ultra wide angle add-on lens which is supposed to work for underwater environment, I thought subway could be interesting seen from a marine eye . I had to hold the WAL steady and close in front of my camera lens, it provides much flare but it's alright for experimenting.

Processing : the shot was underexposed and yellowish due to public lighting, I hit autocolor twice. It gave me that gross grain which I finally like, it has a photocopy feeling and suits a lunatic mood well, IMHO.

great colors...Congratulations!an action photo.Good one

Really nice idea using this different lens. Very fitting for TrekLENS. I agree with your liking the grainy effect of the autocolor process you did. I really like the vibrant colors of your shot. Maybe it would have been cooler if we could have seen an entire silhouette of a head. Did you take it from across the tracks on or the same side?

The colors are very distinct. The motion blur adds to the picture. This is good but I couldn't explain really why. Maybe it is the unconventional approach? The curve?

Nice. Almost like an inverted fish eye effect. I like the saturated colors and the idea of a blurred blue ghost moaning insanities against politicians. I agree with you..wandering around l'assemblée nationale might hurt your brains severely..

fully agree with your choice and your post treatment luko!:-) and politics deranging people's mind too;-) this add-on feature gives stunning results... i like this series of yours on the parisian metropolitan... great stuff! moving out this we?

Well seen, i like the double curvature in this shot- that caused by the tunnel, and the lens. The grain is good here, adds to this shot.
Not sure i like the black wall meeting his head, but overall this is has a good urban feel to it. Great.

very nice effect with those primary colors, Luko!
you´re creating a fantastic trip around the metro stations in Paris, each one different from the previous one.
can you imagine how we expect the following ones ?;))
very very nice job.
(and you ask yourself what you´re doing in Paris!? Come to São Paulo ;)

the ultra wide angle works well here. the exaggerated colors, the slow shutter and the grain create a moody feel to the picture. the big black spot on the right, however, weakens the impact.

wahaha, cross-usage of equipment, a real fisheye type of Fisheye lens?
funky bright colours , i like the totally unconventional look luko!

I really like the photo , but I need to confess .... I am waiting for the next one.
Your photos bring me back to Paris and I love it . Congratulations ! Fernanda

Cool. Almost fish-eye here with incredibly stark and constrasty colors. Kudos for including the lone human element in all this Warhol like explosion of color. Good one, Luko.

Fantastic serie !!!
