|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Here's a shot from a series of images I did for a client recently. The series is about showing various hats and helmets in fashion type images.|
This is a shot of a old a rather expensive helmet. I'm not sure when it was used, by who or where.
I shot this in my studio using a 3 lights. One in a 70cm deep octabox from high camera left. Another light used bare from camera right. Last light was to light the background to allow her and the helmet to stand out slightly.

Nice idea and presentation...
Hello, Jens -
Very eye-catching image; love the use of the directional lighting which makes dramatic shadows, particularly across her eyes. Her pale skin tone and incredibly smooth skin create the impression of a carved marble statue. Very interesting work.

Very powerful one !
Your skill really shows here. Awesome shadow, lines, and just an awesome composition. pure art to the finest degree. Thanks for showing me the possibilties with the camera. Did your lighting set up really create such a hard shadow on her face and cheeks?
Jens, Great shot. All of the harsh blacks and heaviness of the helmet gives such a strong presence. The red lipstick gives it that feminine touch. Adds softness to the scene. Great job with the lighting and shadows. I'm always thinking about how a shot would look in black and white and I think this image would lose a lot! Keep posting..you're an inspiration! Lisa

Nice solid work, I love the incorporation of the old helmet into modern fashion. The shadow cast on the model's eyes gives the image a mysterious quality. Great work.
