[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The background is a texture of place names from all over the world.
The wide black frames for each photo reaches a tentacle out to highlight the name that is appropiate for this photo.

A bit of a rough sketch, the composition could possibly be refined in a lot of details that I didn't come around to since the collecting of all those names took some time. I like the concept though.

I like this original idea a lot, you are very creative indeed. A good way to break through a pure white background.

I think that every participant of the book should put a vote here on TL by favorising it, that would give a serious hint for the final decission.

You are full of very good ideas Torben. I really like this version (although probably there should be a picture for each continent, or at least a choice of pictures that show even more the diversity). Hard to choose my favorite design among all those you have produced... Well done.
