A walk on the beach - 1
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
We were a group of friends, taking a walk along the Ringkøbing beach, when suddenly Martina (l) and Melanie (r) took off their shoes and socks and went along us but a few meters deeper, wetting their feet.
If I hadn't been busy taking photos, I would ave joined them.
View: towards SW.
PP: a bit of shadow correction. |

Hello Yaron!
A fine and romantic picture!
The difficult light right against you is handled well.
On the composition: Perhaps you could have cropped away just a little bit to the left of the couple, and below them? But its also fine as it is.
TFS!
Regards, Jon.

hi yaron
a fantastic picture. very intense and nice colours. the contrasts between the two persons in black and the coloured sky is great. i believe that you had some more points on this picture if you had generally more points on your account. this is TL.
greetings

Hello Yaron,
I really like this photo for its mood and the excellent light metering.
The mood: seaside views are always a bit cliché, but you achieved to go beyond the ordinary by focussing on the walking silhouettes and thus creating a prominent and interesting dynamism in your composition.
The light metering: excellent rendering of the colours and the light in difficult circumstances: the coloured parts full of nuance (no washed-out tones) and the human silhouettes really dark, just suggesting them in stead of showing them.
A quality scan as well...
Glad you didn't join them ;o).
TFS & kind regards,
Erik
