Praha has large Avenue too...and I took this photo in one of them.
I have seen this little fellow walking and he seemed to be alone on the road. He looked as a perfect adult walking in the big streets and without any afraid....he was at home.
There are adults that haven´t find their places. It is not so easy to feel at home.

Looking this boy there is a song that came to my mind,
How Many Roads

"How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?

Hola Teresa,
That's a lovely perspective you've presented from this catch. It's true that each child is a complete invidual and he/she demands respect as we give to adults. Excellent PP work in monochrome, well done my friend. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Teresa,
A fine effect on this B&W presentation.
I like the composition and the positioning of the boy walking towards the lady.
A very original result with this artistic PP work.
Good job.
My best wishes,

Francis Xavier

Hello Teresat

In like the patented B/W treeatment you have given this image of the young one. Well placed POV. Another winner

Jimmy

Excellent black and white shot...I love your process of black and white conversions Teresat...The high contrast and areas of white in the background really bring out your subject....nice work.

Roger

Dear Teresa
another masterpiece in B&W. creative and extraordinary pp work. A great way to show how a photo of a simple street episode can be changed into a fine work of art. I like your interpretation to the mood in the scene.
shalom to you and J.

As most of your shots, this time again your post deserves a great applause for the strong mood and emotions you caught in this picture, dear Teresa!

I like the PP work and intense light making a part of the picture.
The way the kid is walking and may be watching the steps of the elders in order to learn something.
Nicely shown color tones.

Have a nice weekend.

Um abracos,
Paras

Boa tarde Teresa!

Hi Teresa,

Yes, this little boy seems in great confidence...your eye knows who and what to look for a touching image ! The composition is fine and your post-treatment in B&W so pertinent, too!
I love the placement of his feet with his shoe looking still like new ... I can not help but think that at this age, children don't have time to use their soles. Often, when a child wears worn-out soles, this is a sign that life is on a bad start ... and children may become men before their time.

Thanks for sharing your unique glance on life!

Annie

Hello Teresa,

A picture with a soul ! I like the high contrasts and the POV you have choosen to capture this tender meeting.
Kind regards
Jean

Bonsoir Teresat,

I like the old B&W style you got here. It looks like the good old Tri-X pan film pushed 2 to 3 stop in D-76 B&W developper and printed on hard graded paper. the compostion is well balanced and all our attention goes on the kid. Nice work and TFS.

Alain

I somehow missed this Teresa! Wonderful high key shot, nice comp, the woman's legs gives a purpose to the child and shows direction of walking! Wonderful shot!

The answer is blowin' in the wind , Bob Dylan , well not a fan of him but heard the lyrics so many times , it's like buzzing in my ears right now ,,, hey hey , the words suit the scene beautifully my friend , a great capture and you have applied quite a treatment to go with the mood here , a type of duotone effect that sets your subject off nicely ....yes how many roads must a young boy walk down before you call him a man , i like this one a great deal ,
bravo Teresa,
Um abraço,
Carol

Dear Teresa
Adding too much brightness create magnificent environment here
The little boy captured in a good position as well as that woman come forward
You successfully showed the loneliness of the boy

Ola Teresat

Missed this one. I like the high key toned bg & simple but powerful composition of mother & child from a low shooting angle approximating a child pov. Tfs!

Hi Teresa.

An apt song title that came to mind from you.
An apt effect also created with contrasting, the tones merging so well together. Once more you give us food for thought, you give the mind and soul fuel.
We thankyou for this....and more.

Ciao Teresa, lovely B&W composition, fascinating PP work, excellent presentation and splendid light, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio
