[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
At the bottom you can see the rock castle Vranov, currently better known as Pantheon. It raises on sandstoen cliff above the river Jizera at village Mala Skala. It was established as a gothic fortress in the 15th century and last renovated after 1800 into the Pantheon, as a memorial to outstanding people of this time. There are the headstones and memorial tablets of mythical figures from czech history, well-known writers (Cervantes, Shakespeare, Goethe) or many others. The building, it is not a chapel but a summer house where is a cafe and a gallery. It is also a favorite climbing terrain.
This shot was taken yesterday from another sandstone formation called Drabovna. The wheather changed rapidly and the light too.
