|This is another slope of the Rila mountain. The mountain name is of old Latin origin and means "abundant waters". It has more than 200 lakes and many water springs. Some of this waters are captured for water suply of the neighbouring towns and of the capital Sofia. The scars in the forest on the slopes are due to the water pipes which are about a meter in diameter.|
