I am still excited by this butterfly. I saw it today coming out of its pupa - at first its wings were gathered together because of the tight place it came out from, but a little by little the wings started taking their real form.
I know that the butterfly is overexposed on one side, but I knew that it was just a matter of time before it flew away. Which was exactly what happened.
Enjoy your day :)

Gorgeous detail here Evgenia! Very nice greens! Lovely detail, very elegant! I like it!

Great macro; very good framing focus and exposure!

Hello Evgenia,
You have used such woderful tones of green which fit in so aptly with your title. How exciting to have witnessed the butterfly emerge. I have seen it once and, like you, I was overwhelmed! Great composition, dif and detail.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Chudesno macro, Evgenia. Haresva mi kompoziciyata i nachina, po koito si izpolzvala svetlinata. Cvetovete sa mnogo dobri, kakto i background-a. Podhodya6ta ramka i dobar fokus. TFS (",)

Hi Evgenia,
That must have been a wonderfull moment, to see the butterfly appear from its cocoon. You must be really glad to have witness it. I am also impressed that you have found the cocoon or the butterfly. Its colors is so close to the colors of the grass. I don't might the OE that much. It doesn't detract from the fine details.

Wow, how nice picture, bravo, Evgenia.
Amazing scene and sharp, clear colors.
best regards - TFS

The insect is very well exposed, and the colours are attractive... Well framed *still* life!

Hello Evgenia
The green butterfly in green grass. A very good clear and quite exposed realization.

Precioso momento en el que la mariposa sale a la luz tras su periodo de metamorfosis.
Perfecta composición y acertado encuadre.
Saludos Evgenia. Juan Luis.

Hello Evgenia !

Great to see you back ! A nice post, despite the difficult light condition . A very decent macro . You did well here, You were lucky to see that happening . Were you just watching your grass growing when it happened (^_^), or it was you were just at the right time at the right moment ?
Sharp and well composed image.

Well done !

Nice macro, Evgenia. I love the green tone of whole photo. The detail of butterfly is well done! Thanks for it:-)

Hello Evgenia,
It must be very exciting to see the next stage of metamorphosis which you captured quite effectively. The coil and appendages are quite visible and sharp, and there is lovely powdery texture on the wing. Quite a catch. Best regards. Danilo
