… in the rapeseed fields. Thanks to M. for posing.

Manual focus. No postprocessing.
Why f8? Well, I just forgot to change aperture after a series of landscape shots :o|. Do you think that with a wider aperture, I would have had the rapeseed behind M. less sharp? Thanks for your critiques, comments & suggestions.

… dans les champs de colza. Merci à M. de bien avoir voulu poser.

Mise au point manuelle. Pas de post-traitement.
Pourquoi f8?

… in de koolzaadvelden. Met dank aan M. voor het poseren.

Manuele scherpstelling. Geen post-processing.
Waarom f8?

hi Eril this is a delightfull image a good blend of natural colours works realy well i like how you have focused here brings out the details of the flowrs and m realy nicely
tfs regards bryan

HI Erik,
this shot is wonderful, a lot of emotions to see - happy that spring is here - but also contemplative. The light and the bright yellow colours are pretty, I also love the flower in the front, the softness, it's very nice, thanks

Hi Erik,
I wasn't to sure if I liked the blurred rapeseed in the foreground or upper right corner, but after a couple of seconds I found they gave a real sense of your subject being
surrounded by a large area of yellow rapeseed.I guess the background may have been changed using a wider aperture, but I think it would depend more on your chosen focal point?

Ron

Bonjour Erik,
Amicalement,
R.

hey Erik :)
I really like this photo, 100% natural.

Erik, this is a nice image, full of spring mood... I can feel the perfume...

The foreground unfocused flowers are well located within the frame and help to make the viewer feeling of 'being there'.

The sky area is also well located and not OE at all.

She is too centered and that steals some punch to the shot in my opinion, it is too evident.

The harsh light conditions work well on the soft flower textures, but on the woman is not the same thing... projected shadows are created. However the dynamic range is very well controlled and it looks pleasant.

About the model, correct, but I miss a more expressive face as long as she is in the middle of that beautiful landscape and staring at a blooming flower.

f/8 is appropriate, a wider aperture could´ve got part of the model unfocused... ISO 100?

Hallo Erik,

Mooi zo...
Patrick

Hello Eric,

A very well-worked photograph.
I have the curious feeling that I am secretly watching M as she wanders through the field. However, although she is unaware of being scrutinised, I have all the time in the world to absorb her features, her expression, her clothing, her mood.
This sharply focussed subject gains superb atmosphere from the unfocussed areas, which supply a good context.
Central positioning works amazingly well!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

yes, this is spring !!!
you brought us just in the heart of it

thanks,

Hi Erik,

wonderful shot of spring and may be if background should be blurr and front flower should be infocus then it work more effectively . Please this is my personal openion. dont mind

best regards

Bom dia
You get a good sharpness in this very very good compositio. The yellow of flowers made agood frame to the beautiful model,M.
Spring lives in your photo and touchs a beautiful sky- Love the perspective.

Hello,

Nicou

Ciao Erik,

I would have avoided the two yellow blurred spots, the hard and lateral light emphasizes the wrinkles of the face.
Beautiful the colors and the location.
