The best spot of Ghent. Or one of them. I know, I would not publish on a blog and make it as world proclaim, but alas, I think my blog is not a channel to the world, only a fraction of the real world, and then to individuals. And those few who take the trouble to read my contributions deserve it also, if they themselves do not yet know, of course, this beautiful tranquil place in Ghent to know. The Lievekaai is where the Lady, coming from the Meetjesland, through Lovendegem in the Rear Lys flows. For whom the Achterlei not know is that the bend of the Leie which the basin, if I may say so, include that partially surrounds the majestic Counts.

Another wonderful work you are sharing with us today, John!

It is always great to enjoy your work, especially when it comes to the architecture of the historical cities through your lens. This capture is no exception, taken with wonderful sharpness and from a nice POV.
Very well done, my friend!

best regards,
Paras

Hi John,
A beautiful canal in this marvellous city of Ghent!
A rather difficult lighting here, but you managed splendidly!
A nice row of beautiful golden trees on the left balanced well by the nice local architecture!
Nice bridges crossing and the human element is giving impact to the composition.
Well done,

Francis Xavier
