Well, here it is (at last!):
my fist picture of a water drop. It took me a lot of practice (they fall so fast!).
Fortunately I had the help of my wife, who carries the spoon. You can see her reflection there lol
I'm very proud because I never thought it would give such a result.

PS. this image has NOT being edited AT ALL, except from brightness and colour

Hi
I had to repost this image, it's my first try at photographing "suspended" water drops, therefore I wanted it to be special,
I edited a bit the detail on the spoon... it was well detailed but there were lots of imperfections from the spoon that I didn't like.
I also increased brightness in some parts to give a more "shining" effect.
I hope you like it ;)

Hi Luis
I liked both versions. THe reflection of your wife is a real bonus to the shot. The DOF is perfect for this and the capture was well worth the effort.

Luis, water drop photo with a twist... quite literally. Good reflection, it gives what would be standard drop photo another dimension. :)

cordialement

hey there, i like this 1st try, the clarity and shutter speed worked well, great reflection, this looks like it may take sme practise, i think you have given me an idea.......tnx...scott

Hi Luis,
Interesting experiment that turned out pretty well. You have more patience than me lol. You captured some nice droplets, and interesting to see such a good reflection in the spoon. The spoon you used with the twist has added more interest. Thanks

Lyndon

Bonjour,

Felicitaciones
Mario

Well captured shot - and as others have pointed out the reflection in the spoon adds a nice twist. I like the colours in the water drops themselves and even the shape of the spoon is interesting.
Thanks for sharing
Mark

Well done on the capture of the water droplets, i have been trying - no success yet, they are still falling to fast for me!

I love the spoon, the bent bit adds interest to the image.
Great POV and DOF.
