[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello everybody.

Let me show you this picture.
While containing a beautiful sunset here in Liège, it has lots of
traces of vapour or smoke left by jets/planes.

Appart from not being "natural" or in a good contrast with the sunset, it could give it another effect,
don't you think?

Anyways, I will leave to you to decide whether it makes this or any picture good or not... ;)

Hello Luis,
i like this sunset. There are very nice clourds and
lines on the sky with great colours...
Good job!

Patrick

Excellent dégradé, j'aime bien les contrails dans cette image :)

I love it!!
I live in a city where contrails are very rare. Any jet planes in the vicinity of Auckland tend to land here.
Beautiful composition and light.

Luis,
Very nice decisive moment capture here. I like the orange gradient and the repeating lines of the contrails. I recently watched contrails being made from about 40 feet away. I was looking from the window of a 747 and it was ripping the sky apart, leaving contrails the whole way. Such a violent event....but VERY cool.
Nicely done on this photo.
Scott

Contrails are hard to avoid these days... Apart from the nasty effect their cummulative presence has, they do - at times - offer photographic opportunities.

And I guess we are here for those, eh!

I like your compo, and the capture of this fan of trails!

By and large the lines are all complementary, so that helps!
A criss-cross or zig-zag would have been harder to work with, not?

Anyway good shot! Great colour palette too.
