Hi John
Photography is all about opinions, that's what makes it so interesting. I like this shot; the contrasting colours of the sky and grass and the winding road that leads the eye into the scene. You have stuck to the rule of thirds, but, possibly, if some of the sky was cropped out it would remove part of the image that doesn't do much for the image. Plus the road may be slightly too bright.
As I say, just my opinion.
A good shot having said all that.

A pleasing image.
I agree about the sky, if you scroll up the page, you will see what a crop of the sky looks like and feel some is in need of going.
Other than that small niggle, the lane does work with the eye so well.
