El género neotropical Anthurium consta de 600 a 800 especies, llamadas comúnmente anturios o calas. Inicialmente se descubrió en Costa Rica. Es originario de las zonas tropicales y subtropicales de América Central y América del Sur.
Es el género más grande y probablemente más complejo de esta familia. Muchas especies no se han descrito todavía y se encuentran nuevas cada año. Es el único género perteneciente a la tribu Anthurieae. Se ubica en Zacatelco, Tlaxcala |

Hi Roberto
Nice to see you posting after so long. I always find red difficult to photograph, I struggle to get any shape or depth. And I think this is the same to some extent. I also don't think the limited depth of field doesn't work and the white has no detail. I'm sorry to be so negative, I don't mean to offend.
