CHILDREN AT PLAY
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I caught these children at play on the white sand beach at Cane Garden Bay at 1:00 o'clock in the afternoon. The were so concentrated on their work, they did not notice me took their picture.
Our stay is too short as Tortola is the one island in the BVI that calls for some extended shore leave. Driving around the island's steep and winding mountain roads is not for the faint of heart, but the views are breathtaking. Some of the finest beaches in the entire island chain are here (the best, Cane Garden Bay and Long Bay, are on the north shore, where surfers also head to Apple Bay), and the restaurants are some of the most highly regarded in the Caribbean. Shopping and nightlife tend to be low-key, but you'll find a reggae-steady assortment of small clubs in Road Town (waterfront capital of the BVI) and in beach bars around the island. There are no
high-rise hotels and casinos here. It is much less developed than its counterparts in the USVI. Tortola is an island that has kept its quiet, West Indian feel, reason enough to slow down here, and get to know the island.
Some descriptions were based on http://www.islands.com/tortola/

Hi Andre- great capture of the worry free day spent as a child making sand castles-no fancy scoops or buckets just a plastic cup, their hands and imagination! Well seen and catured!
Best wishes,
Steve
Lovely shot of the girls playing in the sand together.
Hi Andre,
I like your effort here, but I suggest if taken in a lower angle this photo would be much eye catching, cheers to you - JEFFREY
