|Has anyone ever tasted conch? If you ever visited the Grenadines, you have to try the conch or lambi. This is the big sea snails. The picture is the shell of the conch. Try it with callaloo soup or curried conch. In any way you like to eat, I would say this is a delicacy not to miss when you visit the place. Before cooking, the meat is pounded normally with a hammer to soften it. This is very seldom available as it is only allowed in the open season. I took this conch from the fisheries where hundreds of empty shells are available.|
