|Actually I shot this guy on the Caribbean island of Saint Martin, but that wasn't a choice for a country. St. Martin is not France but kinda like what Puerto Rico is the the USA.|
In any case the Grenadines aren't far from St. Martin and both have iguanas like this. Imported green iguanas are slowly replacing the idigenous species shown here.
This one is about a meter long and was about 10 m

Hey michael, great portrait from this unique dragon! I do love reptiles and I admire them. If you don't mind take a look at my workshop that I tried to set the WB of the photo. Thanks for sharing.
A very fine close up and detailed shot.
The WB is over exaggerated however an excellent close up with immaculate details and in depth visual of its natural patterns and markings. Nice comparison between its rough skin and the spikes of the cactus.
Good POV, exposure and sharpness.
You could have cropped a bit closer as ther eis room on the right and top.
