We are on the way from the Dominican Republic to Haiti. The difference between both countries is extreme. Never seen before a such poverty-stricken country.

Hi Achim
This shot is worth commenting on for several reasons - mostly for me because of the conflict it creates. She is quite clearly desperately poor; but she radiates beauty, so there is a sense of both sympathy and admiration for her.
I think this conflict is expressed in the dissaray of her hair and clothing vs. the small earring she is wearing. A similar contrast expressed in the soft texture of her skin against a dusty and empty background.
As far as composition goes, I think this shot would have been better with a closer crop, or placement of the subject less centrally within the frame?
Excellent work, congratulations.
