[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

Please meet our friends Christina and Frank, with Martine on the left. This image was shot in Guardalavaca. Christina does not like much to be photographed. Here I kind of like the moment captured. I hope you do to.

Here we were waiting for our taxi. He dropped us earlier in the morning, and we set our pickup one hour later to bring us back to the resort. Well, everybody was getting a bit nervous here, as he obviously did not show up on time (^_^). Martine and Frank were checking the road, while Christina avoided the camera (*_^) Reason of the delay will be shown tomorrow....

Technically. I choose a low POV since the ladies were sitting on the grass. It gave me the chance to avoid the crowded BG. I did cloned the power lines and city lights. I played with shadows/highlights ( dark and light tones ) to reveal a bit more Frank in the shadow of the palmtree. Adjusted luminosity, Filtered with Neat Image. Surprisingly , Image uncropped. Just resized, framed and titled.

Now, I just got back on line ( my computer was down since last night ). Got to make space on my hard drive again ..... I do have to work seriously on it, as it is running a bit too slow. Disk was 95% full LOL! )

nice to meet them
really an outstand point of focus. i like the very low angle in combination with the very very bright colours

Hi Robert,

I liked the POV too, the blue sky makes a very good background especially that they are wearing colorful outfits. Very good use of the coconut trunk and leaves to frame the photo. Thanks for sharing.

A nice and colorful vacation scene Robert...
Does not appear to me as if you were waiting... more like a relaxing break from a walk...
Cool colors!

Hi Robert
Good to see you back, hope all went fine ? Did the kids like the 'dolls' you both brought them?
Nice relaxed scene here, good POV TFS

Hola Robert,
excelente momento,
bello pov. y dof,
colores maravillosos,
excelente encuadre...

Hi Robert,
I thought the same - a very relaxed holiday shot from a great point of view.
Love the atmosphere you created!

I never would have guessed about the PP work! I really like the low POV as it makes us feel that we are sitting on the grass too! Beautiful vivid colours & sharpness!

Well done

Hi Robert,
Boring my friend....they look bored :) What'sgoing on there: I've to be patient! This posting isn't boring at all! A very special POV and bright vivid colours. Even Christina's back looksresting..does she know? ;)

Bonsoir Robert,

Hi Robert,

Excellent and relaxed moment you catch here!No pasa nada.
Nice pov and beautiful colors.

Hello Robert,
You very well rendered this kind of "lazy waiting" of tourists forced to... wait. The lady on the left looking to the frame of your picture emphasizes this waiting. Excellent POV and colours too.
TFS & have a nice day,

Hello Robert!
I love all the bright colors in the photo and I think you chose a great POV there. Glad to see the taxi came eventually!

Bonjour Robert,
J'ai manqué ton retour de vacances. Je vois que tu en as profité pour prendre de superbes photos. J'aime beaucoup celle-ci. Le point de vue très bas est très efficace et l'attente du taxi est évidente. Belle composition et couleurs! Bravo! Annie

Excellent work Robert with minimal PP work. LOvely lowdown POV and good detail. TFS,

Good use of the shelter (The tree)here.Low-angle shot; you are so clever!I like the lighting and the vivid blue sky as the background so much! Excellent mood!

A very different kind of travel photo. I love the low POV as well as the inclusion of the palm tree. A bit of mystery here, too. And classic Perryhooter colors. Well done!

Great POV and colors! It reminds me of a commercial that ran last year for Old Navy. Great sharpness and the sky is perfect.
well done,

Great tones for a shot in shadow with all the figures balanced against the sky; so hard to get right.
