[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The cathedral in Santiago De Cuba, which is the 2nd largest city in the island. The city pre-dates Havana, having being founded by the Spanish conquistadors in 1514. The cathedral, originally built during that period has been renovated more than 25 times, as a result of earthquakes, hurricanes and other natural disasters. The last renovations were in 1922.
Note the old cars parked by the cathedral. Cuba has many of these, in running order.
Here is a photo of the cathedral from the main square of the city. |

Hi Sunil,
I like your angular POV here and short writeup you have on this cathedral.
I noticed you had a couple of lens spots, which I removed in my workshop (I hope you don't mind.) I also created a layer of the building and the sky and increased the vibrancy and the brightness on both.
Enjoy!
Best Regards,
Kurt

Hi Sunil
Those dust bunnies are so easy to get rid of in photoshop. Good upward pov on the cathedral with excellent control of perspective. Good shadow detail and reasonable sharpness. I would burn in the levels of the sunlit highlights at left. Tfs!

Bonjour Sunil,
Jolie perspective effectuée sur cette cathédrale cubaine ressortant de façon harmonieuse sous le ciel de ce beau pays...
Amitiés
