Minimalistic Cuba

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
It has been a very long time since I have uploaded a photo. Probably as many others, just not interested to be active. However, I have been visiting from time to time and felt it was time to share a photo again and learn a little.
I went on a 3 week vacation to Cuba where photography came only second. Still I managed to make several photos and even a few I am proud of. Most however are great memories of an awesome trip. I was also forced to only bring one camera and one lens. All knowing it would bring me less options and less quality.
This one was taken at the end of the day with warm soft light. It is a wall of one of the oldest churches in Camaguey on the oldest square of the city. I liked the soft casted shadow, the imperfection of the wall and the use of the energy saving bulb. |

Artful composition with great color theme, all the best Otto.
Hello Niek, a very well balanced 'minimalist shot from your holiday on Cuba.
The shadow of the lamp is perfect.
The imperfect plasterwork adds to the picture.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Like the colour contrast of the window and the wall.
The colour sharpness of the wall is the most interesting feature here.
Well done

Very good use of the light of the sun here. Can see the sun beautifully touching the lamp and casting an amazing shadow.
