There's nothing to fault here. Fantastic sharpness, tight framing yet with sufficient breathing space, diagonals that provide dynamism, good color & saturation & superb graphism. Even a faint glint & reflection in the pelicans eye! Tfs!

Hello Carol.

An astonishing image, I assumed the Pelican had just webbed feet but seeing the clear detail of your image, it has talon like claws to grasp the cable. I love the tufty feathers sticking up in the breeze and the yellow tinge around the eye. Truly amazing detail and against the sky, very welldone.

What a sharp capture of this 'bird on a wire', dear Carol.
Perfect lighting and a nice contrast with the sky. Perfect details in the bird's face features and the plumage.
