The tile lives up to the product , believe me !
A hot sauce that accompanies your meals perfectly , just pour a few drops of this on your rice and beans ( another local delicacy ) and you are garanteed flavor and taste that your taste buds are going to remember for a little while ( pun intended )!
Here is a brief history of this Belizian product : Marie Sharp ( the name appears on each and every bottle )a native of Belize came up with some ideas and recipes in her kitchen while experimenting with her own sauces , jellies and jams ( those are other excellent products she sells locally and abroad )using her own wholesome locally farmed Habanero peppers, various fresh fruits , vegetables and spices. When Marie introduced her creations to friends and neighbors to try she was overwhelmed by positive feedback and encouragement , well that was when she decided to turn it into a family buisiness .
Initially the company started production in the kitchen with help from relatives and one employee , nowadays it has grown to a fully staffed manufacturing facility with laboratories in the Stann Creek District of Belize. All markets in Belize sell her products and
you can travel anywhere in the country yet wherever you sit to eat even at the tiniest one-table restaurant you will always find a bottle of Marie Sharp's sauce proudly standing in the center of the table for customers to use , Belizians love it and we did !
This is a 'fiery hot' labelled sauce you see in this photo, humm 2/3 empty , mind you the sauce comes in different degrees of "heat" if i may say , one X is mild stuff , a rating of 5 X will burn a hole in your tongue if you do not heed the advice on the label , you will want to mix a drop or two thoroughly in your food before scooping a mouthful , 'Beware' is the name-association for that one but the most popular is the 'fiery hot' one and we found it just perfct in the right dosage !
The photo was taken at "the Shak" a small unpretentious restaurant with pinky corrugated walls hand painted with flowers and table tones matching the colors of the sauce label , hey hey , what a coincidence ! I took the shot moments before the staff arrived with our breakfast burritos . The village is Placencia located mid-way down the Carribean Coast.
We enjoyed it so much that we purchased a couple of bottles to take home and try again . Not to forget Marie does great fruits squashes and jams too , simply delicious !

Hi Carol

Good entry in the liquid theme & this one is certainly hotter than water! Or wine. Good sharpness & shallow dof in th oof bg. The diffused light works well here. Tfs & have a great weekend!

A well seen shot and subsequently a nice entry to Friday's theme, Carol!
I like the idea in this picture shown with well clarity and isolation of the subject against the BG is well kept.

Several times I have tasted Habanero chilli and it is HOT, but the Bhut Jolokia was the real ultimate :O

Have a nice weekend.

Thanks and regards,

I buy it Carol.
Good Idea to the theme,
Good sharpness and very happy mood.
Delicious Liquid it seems, I must try,
Have a good WE
Um abraço
