Wow I never would of guessed this was an elephant, what a beautiful shot! His eyes sure tell a story, Love the real close up ! Great color , light and shadow!

Intriguing shot. Great detail and colour. I have to wonder if less centred composition might work better, if the eye was placed more to the right and higher in the frame, perhaps?

Good idea to shot a frame full of elephant, nothing else inside, i really like it.
I agree with Rew about the situation of the eye.

That eye seems human, i can guess what hes thinking about "will i have coleslaw or green salad for dinner?"
