Very effective PS work, the general feel of the shot is that it is more complete with the reflection compared to the original. The colours of the dragonfly are very vivid, and i like the forward position of the wings. Great work and shot.

Manuel I think the colors in your photo are great,I agree with midnight sun about the position of the wings and I also think the angle of the photo is excellent.

great shot. I already love this flood filter w/o knowing how to do it ( I guess the water effect is just an effect? Am I right? tell me everything manny, pleaaaaaaase:-) great shot How did you use your coolpix? macro mode? tripode? The dragonfly is beautiful. You have made a great job with the flood filter. I also like the workshop photo. Nice colors Manuel.

Wow Many! The wings. Loook at the wings! Great capture. I think i can detect some motion blur and considering how the wings are placed i guess it just, or maerly just landed. (or is it about to take of mabye?).The "water" is really well done. I'll have to see if i can find that filter somewhere :) Saturating teh green was a good choise. I like the two-coloured background as well.

excellent DOF, but i think a little too saturated and over sharpen. Nevertheless, you good shot of dragonfly.

Great stuff, Manny - I remember the earlier shot you had posted on TE. The amount of detail you got in the wings and the other parts of the dragonfly makes this one a logical addition to your "texture" series. Gotta love that flood filter, it sure is great. Wonderful work.

Very nice subject presented in a creative way. Great macro shot. Flood filter is interesting, but did your picture needed it absolutly?

Your pictures are stunning, and I must say that I look forward to critiquing all your photographs if that is possible.

I've taken a change, and decided to critique an insect photograph, and yours came up. Captured by the very vibrant colours, I clicked on it and I must say I'm not dissapointed.

The clarity and focus of the photograph is stunning!

The colour combination grabs my eyes immediately!
The pink insect stands very well on the blurry green back,
and the accurate focus gives a fine 3D feeling to the subject...
Adding the simplicity of the composition the image
is a real treat to my eyes!
