[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These birds are so fascinating to watch. They might not be the most beautiful but they certainly are a proud lot! This was shot behind my mom's place near a local canal. The bird life is astounding here and I took away many fond memories from this place.Hope you like it and thanks for viewing.

Hi, Dilshan. These Cormorants are very smart and to me they look beautiful and are perfectly adapted by nature for survival. They are abundant in Puget Sound Washington where I live. Good capture of this bird about to take off in its natural surroundings and color. The DOF however in my opinion is very blurred but it does isolate the subject. I did a workshop but it is just representing my opinion. Cheers.

Good balanced composition with the bird located on the 1/3 rules. The nice bohkey behind concentrates our attention on the bird. The low warm light gives a nice warm tone to the scene. Nice work and TFS

A very sharp capture of this bird in such a curious posture!
Very good subtle lighting rendering perfect details on its plumage.
