Here is another shot of the wet bird I posted a few days ago from a different angle. Here I did over a 60% crop to get this close up detail shot of the self grooming bird. Any comments welcome and thanks for viewing.

Olá Dilshan,
Powerful image of this strange bird.
Great texture in the feathers and perfect clarity and sharpness. Beautiful light!

This is so amazing!! First of all, just his scruffy appearance.. you don't often see birds in this state of disarray :) But also the detail you've captured in the feathers is fantastic... very well done my friend!

Hi Dilshan,

Nice capture of this bird preening itself. Very sharp, with nice detail in the feathers. The blurred background is excellent!

Another fantastic closeup shot from your 'Wet Wet Wet' series, Dilshan :)

Great focus and perfect clarity with marvelous details.
The colors are natural and sharpness is amazing.
The blurry BG helps to isolate the subject beautifully.
Great job!

best wishes,

Hi Dilshan,
A very sharp portrait of this bird grooming itself in such a rough manner!
Very fine details in the eye and the plumage and a splendid crop to draw our attention to the features of the bird.
Great lighting and neatness.
My regards,

Francis Xavier

Hi Dilshan,
great close-up with great sharpness, obviously the phrase "water off a duck's back" doesn't apply to this little fellow
