|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|I am a self confessed Buddha not-collector... grin. (At least, that is the intention and we all know about intentions and where they lead!) |
This 'intention' explains why I have 5 Buddhas at home, and since Sri Lanka, a host of photographic Buddhas, all meditating with great equanimity on my computer...
Some of the most beautiful Buddhas that came home with me and my little Olympus, were not 30m and decked in gold. Rather they were shabby and broken; yet still in a pose of complete calm in the most unlikely situations. They reminded me so much of me; the headless Maggi, surrounded with chaos and trying to do the best she can...
So here I share one of my little friends. He nestles in a third of the photo, surrounded by colour saturated blue (thanks to the wall and not photoshot... grin) and even though not a perfect shot, I love him still and am grateful for his beauty...
Hope you see that beauty too.
