[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken around 5 pm with only the top of the tallest buildings, trees, & elevated freeways in sunlight. The tops of the apartment blocks upper right are still bathed in a soft, yellow sunlight. The fg river was frozen. The light is coming from behind & throwing very long shadows. If anyone knows how to remove the blue cyan color cast in the shadows only, that would be great. Workshops welcome. The low light has given the mosaic of rice paddies covered in snow, the look of a sepia print.

Hi Chris.

Very good detail for one having to stand on a wing to take..... I do love the long shadows, especially the bridge, stunning scene. TFS

Stv :)

Hi Chris
interesting aerial capture. great and original perspective. the very clear details and rice paddies created a fine mosaic texture. the blue cyan color cast in the shadows adds a kind of artistic effect on the image. IMHO there is no need to remove it.

Ciao Chris, I cannot help you, I'm very bad in PP, fascinating composition with fantastic graphic, great view by superb POV, splendid light and wonderful colors, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Interesting view, like a chessboard, I tried to remove the cyan parts and posted a workshop, I hope you like it.

What an amazing aerial view with superb sharpness and clarity, Chris!

The exposure is very well handled which is not that easy to handle in such higher POV shots.
The colors are natural and well shown contrasts do make this work so pleasing to enjoy.
An exceptional work!

Kind regards,
Paras

Hi Chris,
You produced a geometrical composition from this aerial view. Nice colors and beautiful warm lighting on the buildings. The shapes are wonderful and so many to admire.
Well done for this original presentation.
My best regards,

Francis Xavier

Hi Chris,

The height the subject was taken from is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the river, of the fields and of the difeerent buildings. The late afternoon light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Pierre

excellent aerial perspective.
regards
David

Dear Chris,
Its an awesome photo as there is no need to play with level or adjust color. Less is more, good shots do not need PP work and this is one great shot Chris.TFS and well done.

best
Vic

Very nice aerial view. I did a quick WS to your request, but not really sure about that, because I did it in notebook which is not really guarantee about the tonality.

Olá chris
another way of looking earth from the Top...it gives a good palette of colors, lines and textures...I like yor play with cyan.
