************ HELLO DEAR FOLKS ************

The ships in view are container vessels. The two structures over the ship, the white and yellow, are the accommodation and Navigation Bridge area, also called **SUPER STRUCTURE** but the two ships belong to different companies with different dimensions. The one with white was ours. That day we had ceremony of the delivery where you can see flags hanging on the ship's side. The top most point over the white one is 62 meters when measured from the keel of the ship.
I have already uploaded a shot of the day of ceremony where I have shown the national flags. Here you will also note the national flags attached to the WHITE SUPER STRUCTURE.

Here I want to share an interesting thing. The part which is first laid for the ship building is the KEEL (the back bone of the ship), in other words mile stone of a ship building. The keel was laid the day I passed out from my academy, that is, 10th of Dec 2007. When I knew this I felt as if the ship was made for me to board first! (JUST MY FEELING)

The sky is OE but I have tried to control it by adding some vignetting effects (shades), since I was not able to control it due to limitations of my skills and camera.

Thanks for your visits and helpful ideas.

Best Regards,

Hi Ali,
A very sharp capture of this container vessel in an interesting POV.
Nice perspective of this massive structure with a nice deep DOF.
Very interesting subject, not often handled.
Vey good lighting and color saturation.
Sharpening is superb!
Very neat work, my friend.

Hi Ali,
At last we can see it in the container deck, all because a storm is moving. I see a good strong structure Aso.
Enormous size of the house in which I live is only 36 meters / 10 floors / the tiny ship.
Thank you for your nice shot. Best regards

Ciao Ali

I agree with you, Cargo Ship
superstructure is yes, and how they are
large and wide.
This is an excellent capture, where the
point of view makes it all!
Amazing colors and sharp fine details,
very well done ...
A great composition with a strong impact!

Hi Ali,

On my daily commute I ride past the Port of Baltimore. I am always amazed by the size of these vessels. I like the repetition of the foreground structures (don't know what they are), and how they lead up to the Super Structure. Your vignetting worked nicely, TFS.

Hello Ali,

Interesting composition.
Excellent POV and sharpness.
Yes, the sky is OE, but you did very good PP work by adding vignetting effect.

Best regards,

Hello my dear friend Ali!

This is very interesting to me. I really like your note explaining everything. This ship is huge! I had no idea the Super Structure this large. I used a magnifying glass to see your name written on this ship, so it must be made for you. :)

Great POV. I like this a lot!

Hi Ali,
A great industrial shot. May be vignetting is not the best for this type of shot. I think I would have played around with Levels in Photoshop to reduce the OE sky, or use a tinted grad filter.

Hi! Ali

Indeed a good entry for these super structures. Good combination of perspective and ships distinctive forms.

Hello Ali,

A very good presentation of the great architecture and these giant and super structures. Though the sky is OE but you have to some extent controlled it by the vignette you have added. Good DOF is found too in this shot. Nice sharpness and details are found.

TFS, have a nice day,
Mushtaq Hussain

dear Ali,
very artistic picture of the gigantic ships,
your original POV and composition are nice to express the unique and mysterious ambience of those,
colors and structures are illusionary...
thank you for your excellent shot,
