Photo taken at the ArtScience Museum near Marina Bay Sands with in the distance LeVel 33, Marina Bay Serviced Residence Tower and part of Marina Tower.

Back in 2005 when I lived in Singapore this was all undeveloped grass land. It is amazing to see how quickly a city can change in just a few years.

Taken with my little G9, aperture set to its max focus 1/3 into the composition and just waiting for the couple to enter the composition and shoot. Post processing was nothing more then a conversion from RAW to TIFF, levels and curves adjustment and adding some sharpness.

Hi Niek

Excellent sharpness & clarity with good color saturation & punchy light contrasts. The people provide scale. Nice warm cold color contrasts between the yellow green waterlilies & reflected blue skylight adjacent. Maybe I'd clone out the paler discoloration to the left of the 3rd stairs in the overhanging arch. Nice reflections of the twin blue highrises in the bg. Tfs!

Hi Niek,

Excellent POV with the pond in the FG leading the eye to the development. Including the coupe adds scale. What I like most is the lighting, just on the middle and the canopy....Well done... TFS

Very nice view on the buildings in the background. A really amazing spot. I love the view on the water and the water lilies, leading to the background. Seems like a very exciting place to visit.
Great colors and details.

Cheers, Anneke

Hello Niek,a good vertical presentation of some interesting architecture, all brought together as a composition by the couple walking across the middle.
The repetition of curves through the shot is a good feature;the circular shape in the pool, and the two roof shapes complementing each other.
The reflections are lovely too.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Niek...Excellent shot. Your composition is nicely balanced with excellent tones and focus. This shot could be on a brochure for the hotel. Good work.

Hi Niek,
I like how you have captured the modern lines of the architecture, with sharp details & clarity. To me,it appears as though the couple have stepped into the future. I like how you have split the Urban scene using the decorative water lily pond with its single pink water lily. The feeling it gives of Nature, balances so well with the surrounding buildings.Good handling of the available light.Worth the wait to have the peolpe in your composition, they balance so well your composition.
Regards
Ron

Good light colour and detail in this shot but I find the top of the roof a little distracting so I created a workshop. I hope you dont mind.
