This shot inspired by "Sauron" from the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. Thanks to chiquito for the movie info...

I've been a member of TrekEarth for quite some time, and have decided to have some fun with TrekLens. This is my first posting on TrekLens, and also my first posting with my new Macro Lens.

Hi Daniel & welcome to TL

A superb macro of the eye. I have tried this & its not easy. Excellent sharpness, & I like the tight framing.

Hello Dan,
Welcome to TL! :)
Nice macro!! It's interesting to see the nice textures of the retina so close! TfS

Hello Daniel
Very well seen....I agree with Bebu, the very bright reflection is a little distracting to my eyes. Still a great pic, you see a lot of them but this one stands out. Welcome to TL,can't wait to see more. Thank you

Dear Daniel, wonderful scary first entry :)
I would have cloned out the light spots. All else is scary *gggg*. Yours, Jan

Hi Daniel,

Great shot, I have been wanting to try this, but it's not that easy...eyes moving, open and closing etc. etc. Great detail. Excellent shot.

Very nice indeed! I love photos of eyes up close, and this one is definitely a success. Good first post, and good use of the macro lens.
;-) Andre

Woooah... this is cool! Whose eyes may i ask?!
Great detail. Would it have been nicer without the flash? Cool first TL post!

WelCome to TL!

Excellente marco!Un résultat et des détails presque inimaginable!
J'en reste hyptnotisé! 8!

Man,that`s crazy! I wonder how big is the big version??
You could get a second (third?)job with the ophthalmologist...:)
Usually I don`t ask this question but is it real? Is is how the eye looks like?
Superb shot,what can I say...

Hi Daniel,

Nice and sharp macro, I like it!
I'm a little jealous at your Macro lens, but some day i'll buy one myself.
