Rapport with Dragonfly
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|While shooting around in the Orchid Garden, i saw this Dragonfly that loves to rest on this branch.|
It took me more than 15mins to build a closer relationship with it.
Each time it flies away and back to the same branch, i will move closer so that it is within the manual focus of my 55-200mm lens(not macro lens). I moved slowly to get a comfortable distance of within 30cm, then i started my manual focus until i get a clear face of this Dragonfly.
It would be much better if i had a macro or 300mm lens.

> A superb macro recording, showing the finer details in the insect so well!
The composition is pleasing to my eyes, with good lines a a shallow DoF that isolates the subject nicely...
Good clarity in colours too!
Hi Chian..nice shot..excellent macro details with a nice soft background...well
