[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I got free tickets on fashionweek last May and got the chance to capture models on runway. I notice that my shots are not as good as before... maybe because I do'nt shoot as much as before... and It's so hard to focus. This is one of the shot I did though.

Hope not a bad compo

Hi Cris - I think this is one of the best shots I've ever seen you post, I really like this one. The focus on the guy is good, the colour saturation is about perfect and the depth of field with the girl walking towards him/us is just great. She adds context, depth and interest without being distracting. Really nice shot.

Signature is distracting, though, and is pretty pointless. But aside from that nothing I'd change here, lovely, very well done.

HI Cris...great shot...the sharpness of the man works well with the blurred figure in the back...very well composed.

Got to agree with Kilted-Arab on this one. Tho shooting on runways make the job easier, cause the lighting is already done, can't give you credit on that part, but I can if we talk about exposure, witch is bright without over-exposing the whites. And ain't photography about capturing a moment in time, at the end it's how it render. You've done a spectacular job on this one...The composition, the angle, is just so right.
As Kilted mention, the girl in the background comes complete the scene and is well seen, but live all the space to the model upfront, is dominating the image. The space you left under his feet and the top of the image, make that sense that keeps the eye wonder around always.Nice sense of depth, and good choice of aperture, revealing just enough sharpness of the girl. Well done.

good photo from the catwalk. I know it's not so easy do it well :) but you did.

Hi Cris,

This is a great shot. I'm not going to repeat what Richard and Denis have already stated, but everything works well in this composition. Nice work.

Best regards,

A well composed shot Cris, perfect captured of movement at 1/125 sec. with nice DOF. I was impressed the way you placed the two models in the frame- a well balance shot. Indeed, magaling.
