Hi Ian,
A nice POV with quite a remarkable DOF. I like the low approach to this lovely rock formation.
Marvellous light and accurate details.
Lovely contrast with the blue sky. Great management in exposure and an adequate vertical presentation.
Well done.

Hello Ian,
I've never been to The Philippines but this is not what I expected to see there! How wrong can one be!
I love your pov which helps suggest height and steepness. Your sharp exposure has captured the textures of the rock and its gradation of colours, really well, and sets in in contrast against the blue sky.
I have learned something today!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello, Ian -
Great capture of the incredible natural shapes and contours of this unusual landscape. The earth tones look great against the clear blue sky. Very sharp with good management of the sunlight. Fine image.

Hi Ian,
Darn, this rock formation is superb. I love the different lines and the layers in the top right. Your composition shows these lines perfectly and really has that top notch feel to it. It is great to see what kind of art mother nature can present to us.
I like how the lines carved in the sand draw me into the compostion toward the high wall and to the odd shaped rock on the left. The lines are extra interesting due to the shadow casted on it. A sign of a well planned photo.
TFS,
Niek

Hello Ian, an excellent PoV looking up and towards the wind blown rock formations.
The DoF enables us to see all the details of this remarkable landscape.
The blue sky complements the pale shades of the rocks.
Interesting note too.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Ian,
Am still in 'Pinas but the heat is so intense that I end up drinking more beer than taking pics. An incredible pic, you must have waited patiently for the good light. I am now considering visiting the Ilocos region because of this posting. Cheers.

Very unusual formation for the Philippines. I would associate this formation to the desert. But great details and colors.
